I think everyone who gets into internet marketing should find an internet marketing program that teaches them some aspect of internet marketing, and stick with it for at least a year. It doesn’t matter if it is a downloadable ebook that walks you through one type of internet marketing style or whether it is joining an online membership site for internet marketers.

What you decide to go with should depend on how much money you have, and what you’re learning style is, and of course, what type of internet marketing you decide to do. (Affiliate marketing, product creation, or website seo.)

It can be very confusing at first. When I first started I joined SiteBuild It. I made the decision based on several facts: it focused on SEO website building, and it gave me every tool I would need to learn and be successful, all in one membership site. And I stuck with that internet marketing program training for a year. Actually I’ve been with them for 3 years now and my website, while not as successful as I would like it to be (read about my keyword research blunders in the Wealthy Affiliate Testimonials post), is making me a small but steady income. But what SBI did for me was give me lots of videos and training guides, a huge forum of people to help me, and lots and lots of tools. And I learned all the basics of internet marketing building an SEO website. I actually learned a lot and made a friend (she is my Site Buddy – one of the perks of SBI. There’s lots of people to partner with to help you out.)

Internet Marketing Program One Week Marketing

After a year I tried some other internet marketing program guides. I bought some ebooks but can’t really remember them very well. In other words, I tend to learn best if I’m with a bunch of other people who are going through the same thing as me. So while some of the ebooks brought me valuable information, I didn’t stick to their action plans. (And most of them should have an action plan for you to follow, otherwise its just information and not a training program.)

A couple I will mention that I think are really worth your while are One Week Marketing (OWM). This ebook will teach you how to make money setting up Squidoo sites and its creator (Pot Pie Girl) is very successful at it. And it give you a weekly action plan to follow. I have lots of squidoo lenses but I tend to use them to help my sites get backlinks and traffic.

Internet Marketing Program Super Affiliate Handbook

I also bought the Super Affiliate Handbook by Rosalind Gardner, who has been doing internet marketing since dino computers roamed the earth. I liked her stuff alot cuz she used her own sites as examples so you knew she was the real deal.

Those are the top 2 internet marketing program training ebooks that I like. And now some places are getting into using video training which sounds great and I’ll cover that in another blog.
